Northern Flight (NFHRA) is a retriever club promoting the use and training of hunting retrievers as a conservation tool for sound management and use of all upland game and waterfowl. With us, you have the opportunity to train in a group of people and expand on your training abilities with your retriever.
Existing and new members welcome to join us and officially kick off the spring training season. We will be at the Kettle River Retriever Group Grounds for the day. More information will be posted both here and on our Facebook page as we get closer to the event.
We area a local Minnesota retriever club here to educate handlers, owners, and the general public about hunting retriever training and to conduct AKC hunt tests for those who wish to prove their dogs’ hunting abilities.
Northern Flight accomplishes this by hosting AKC hunt tests and conducting training nights every week over the summer. This gives us the opportunity to get together and train as a group. This offers your retriever the chance to see real hunting environments and testing scenarios.
